Stephanie Severson, CVT
Stephanie started her veterinary career in Las Vegas as a teenager in 1995 and has remained in the field ever since. In 2001, she moved to Wisconsin to continue her undergraduate degree in pre-veterinary medicine. In 2005, she put graduate school on hold and became a licensed veterinary technician and a professional breeder/exhibitor of champion Saint Bernards. Throughout her career, Stephanie has worked in a very fast paced veterinary environment with a huge variety of routine and complicated case loads which has allowed her to develop a broad skill set and vast knowledge of veterinary medicine. She has worked in both day practice as well as emergency practice and is exceptionally proficient in anesthesia/surgery and dentistry. Stephanie joined Midwest Veterinary Partners in January 2018 as their regional technical training supervisor, traveling to all the affiliated hospitals in the Wisconsin region to help train and provide advanced education for their technical teams. In August 2018, she also took on the role of Practice Manager here at Downtown Veterinary Clinic and is thrilled to call it her “home base” within the group. As a 23 year veteran in the field, she believes in providing a high standard of care, quality customer service and treats every patient as if they were her own.
Rhonda Stelpflug, CVT
Hi! My name is Rhonda and I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with almost 27 years of experience, most of those years were spent in Emergency Medicine. I did not plan on becoming a Vet Tech though, I have a degree in Music Education and Performance! I decided to become a technician when I realized taking care of pets and their owners was my true calling.
I have 3 daughters, 18, 14 and 12 and a soon to be step son (15) and step daughter (11). My fiancé (also a Vet Tech) and I have 7 dogs, 1 cat, a fish and we just added a baby Guinea Pig!
In my spare time (what is that????) I enjoy spending time with our children. I like to visit family in SW Wisconsin and go up north to our property. I also enjoy motorcycles, still play clarinet, and reading is a “go to” whenever I feel the need for some peace and quiet!
I have always said my work is my vacation! I still believe that to be true, I love what I do and nothing makes me happier than helping your furry children, and sometimes you as the owner, feel better!
I look forward to meeting you and your furry children and having the chance to get to know you all better.
Thanks for entrusting me with your children, it means a lot.
Growing up on a horse farm, Sabrina has always had a passion for animals. In May 2015, she moved from Columbia, South Carolina to Wisconsin where she continued her schooling at Milwaukee Career College. Sabrina joined the Downtown Veterinary Clinic team in May 2018 and couldn’t be happier! She is owned by 2 cats — a 2-year-old black kitty and a 9-year-old tortie with ultra “
Gordana is one of the original team members here at Downtown Veterinary Clinic! Before joining our team here, she volunteered at Elmbrook Humane Society in Brookfield where she not only helped care for the shelter animals but assisted in surgery for their spays/neuters. She also fostered a variety of dogs and cats until they found their forever homes. Her most successful rescue stories are her own Cocker Spaniel, Russell. Gordana is an avid tennis player and enjoys spending time with her family.
Taking care of 2 birds, 2 poodles, and a cat while growing up made it clear to Ronea that she wanted to work with animals for the rest of her life. Today, she is owned by a lab named Duke, and a bossy Yorkie named Bandit. In September 2018, she graduated from Milwaukee Career College with her Veterinary Assistant certificate and later joined the Downtown team in December. She is continuing her education at UWM with a major in Environmental Science and Conservation. She makes the best out of her free time by chasing around her 2-year-old son named Jayceon and spending time with friends.
Jackie Iverson, CVT
My name is Jackie, and I am a CVT here at Downtown Veterinary Clinic and also at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists. I obtained my associate’s degree in veterinary science over 2 years ago. When not at work, I love to be out and about with friends and family.
At the moment, I have one pet in my life and she is a spicy long haired tortie named Crunchy (Aka: Bear). I’m obsessed with cats and Shih Tzus, but I love all animals.
My life goal is to one day own a small farm sanctuary for factory farm animals.
Patirick McGreevy, CVT
I’ve loved animals as long as I can remember. I grew up riding horses and walking neighborhood dogs. I went through the veterinary technician program at MATC in Madison. I worked in emergency medicine for ten years (MECA & WVRC) before transitioning to day practice. My pet daughter has four snakes, two toads and an axolatyl. I also have a corgi named Ooka. In my free time I enjoy playing guitar and reading books about guitar. I am proud to be a part of the Downtown family and I look forward to meeting you and your pets.
