Samantha Salmon, Veterinary Assistant

Hi, my name is Sam, and I joined the Downtown team in June of 2021.  I currently live in Port Washington with my younger sister.  My dog’s name is Jax, he is a black lab crossed with a Treeing Walker Coonhound.  He can be a handful at times, but life would not be the same without him.  Outside of work I like to spend my time hanging out with friends and taking Jax on new adventures. 

 I have always loved animals and knew I wanted a career where I could make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.  I attended Milwaukee Career College for the Veterinary Assistant program and graduated in 2017.  I worked in a clinic for 2 years before coming to Downtown.  Now that I am here, I intend to further my education and begin studying to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.  I am excited to meet and work with your pets.  Let’s make coming to the Veterinary Clinic a positive experience!
